Students of Azerbaijan Technical University, Selcan Karimli and Khalida Hajizade, have earned the right to participate in a summer internship program on robotics technologies, implemented through a joint initiative of the Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ) in Türkiye and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).
The selection process was conducted among candidates from 7 countries, and a total of 12 students gained the opportunity to participate in the summer internship program within the framework of this international project.
The program will last for 6 weeks in total, with the first week consisting of theoretical training.
The main objective of the program is to train a new generation of researchers capable of developing and applying robotics technologies in practice; to support research in robotics both within Türkiye and at the international level; to elevate research in robotics and artificial intelligence; to ensure the integration of robotic technologies into industrial production processes; to develop products utilizing these technologies; and to design unmanned and intelligent systems that meet the needs of the defense industry.
All major expenses of the students during the internship period will be covered by TİKA.
