Training on “Startup and Innovation” Held at the AzTU Incubation Center

A training session on “Startup and Innovation” was held for students at the Incubation Center of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) with the participation of staff members from the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA).

Project managers from IDDA—Nigar Davud, Khumar Jamilli, and Aydin Samadov—took part in the training and shared their knowledge and practical experience with students.

Within the session, participants were introduced to key concepts of the startup ecosystem and the field of innovation. The training included extensive discussions on topics such as the concept and essence of startups, what innovation is and the importance of innovative thinking, differences between startups, traditional businesses, and simple ideas, the concepts of prototypes and MVPs, innovation and support programs, and ways for students to start engaging in innovation.

At the end of the training, students’ questions were answered, participants’ views were heard, and interactive discussions were held.
