April 22 – On the occasion of International Earth Day, under the leadership of Professor Sabina Almammedova, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), the teachers of the department, Kubra Salmanova and Tabarruk Jahangirli, organized a debate in English on the topic “The Role of Each Person in Environmental Protection” for 1st-year students of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Telecommunications, as well as the Faculty of Economics and Management.

During the two-hour debate, students had the opportunity to understand current environmental problems in more depth, explore ways of an “eco-friendly” lifestyle, develop argumentation skills, and at the same time improve their English speaking and public speaking skills.

At the end, certificates were presented to the participants.
