A workshop on the topic of “Innovative strategies in learning a foreign language” was organized by the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).

During the trainings held within the framework of the event, the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Professor Sabina Almammedova, emphasized the need to apply new approaches in modern education and to teach in various forms. New pedagogical approaches have already begun to be reflected in the teaching of a foreign language, as in all subjects, and should reflect the fact that language teaching has a new content, structure and goals.

At the event, the teachers of the department Ph.D Sevil Mammadova, Aysel Yusubova, Aygul Khalilova, Elmira Huseynova spoke on the topics of modern learning technology - the complex and coherent implementation of work, forms, methods and styles taken into account in the organization of learning and teaching activities, the course, renewal, assessment and other educational activities.

4 workshops were presented within the framework of the event. Presentations by department staff led to discussions on the difficulties encountered in teaching English, ways to solve them, assessment of students' knowledge, trends, and opportunities.
