November 8 – On the occasion of Victory Day, under the leadership of Professor Sabina Almammedova, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), a debate was organized in English for a group of students of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Telecommunications on the topic “The Path to Victory: From Sacrifice to Pride” by the teachers of the department, Sanubar Hamidli, Aygul Khalilova, Solmaz Jafarguliyeva and Aytaj Hajiyeva.

The debate began with the National Anthem of Azerbaijan.

The students were given detailed information about the historical Victory gained in the 44-day Patriotic War, and the young people also had the opportunity to develop their argumentation skills and at the same time improve their English speaking and public speaking skills. During the debate, students of group 6324e demonstrated creative presentations specially prepared for Victory Day. Students also made banners on the topic using their creative skills.

At the end, certificates were presented to the participants.
