A webinar entitled “Effective Ways to Develop Oral Speech in English Lessons” was organized by the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).

During the trainings held within the framework of the webinar, the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Professor Sabina Almammedova, summarized the main goal of applying intercultural communicative competence and emphasized the importance of cultural awareness and oral speech skills in teaching foreign languages.

At the event, the English teachers of the department, Mirana Efendiyeva, Gunel Vanedizade, Solmaz Jafarguliyeva, and Shabnam Surkhaizade, stated that oral speech (speaking and listening comprehension) plays a decisive role in teaching a foreign language.
