In December 2022, agreements were signed between Azerbaijan Technical University and Germany's Brandenburg Technical University Cottbus-Senftenberg on a dual diploma program at the master's and doctoral levels.

These are the first agreements signed between Azerbaijani and German universities on the double degree program at the master's and doctoral levels.
