The THE Sustainability Impact Rankings assess universities against the UN Sustainable Development Goals. AzTU is ranked on nine of them in 2026.

AzTU entered the UI GreenMetric ranking for the first time in 2024. Within a single year the university climbed from 1014th to 835th, lifting its total score from 4,645 to 5,797.5.
