An information session on the Incubation Center was organized for students and young people interested in innovation at Azerbaijan Technical University, initiated by the University’s Student Scientific Society.
During the event, the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the AzTU Incubation Center, Osman Gunduz, spoke about the importance of the startup ecosystem and provided recommendations on developing innovation-driven initiatives.
The coordinator of the AzTU Incubation Center, Azad Musayev, presented detailed information about the center’s activities and opportunities. He explained how students can participate in innovation programs and introduced the center’s updated official website.
Participants were informed about the main areas of activity of the Incubation Center, including incubation programs, Startup Days, hackathons, startup-oriented trainings, and support for developing student innovative projects. The session also highlighted the center’s contribution to fostering a strong innovation ecosystem within the university.
Information was also shared about AzTU’s participation in upcoming international competitions, including teams representing the university in events to be held in Uzbekistan.
Discussions were held on training programs, mentorship support, and the development stages of startup teams. Successful student startup teams formed through innovation competitions and Startup Day initiatives were also showcased.
At the end of the session, participants’ questions were answered.
The AzTU Incubation Center aims to support students in transforming their ideas into real projects and startups, develop technological entrepreneurship skills, and contribute to building an innovation-oriented ecosystem within the university.
