The Trade Union Committee protects the interests of the union members in the following main areas:

- Social protection of Union members;

- Legal protection and settlement of labor disputes;

- Labor and health protection;

- Organization of employees' free time, sports, etc. 

All measures taken in the field of protection of the rights and interests of union members are carried out on the basis of collective agreements concluded between the management of the university and the Trade Union Committee.
