The Career and Employment Center of Azerbaijan Technical University (Public Legal Entity) was established on April 7, 2016. In its activities, the Center adheres to the relevant orders and directives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Charter of Azerbaijan Technical University, and the Statute of the Career and Employment Center.
The Career and Employment Center operates to support the career development of undergraduate and graduate students, organize field-specific industrial internships, enhance practical skills and professional competencies, broaden employment opportunities, and facilitate their integration into the labor market.
One of the Center’s core objectives is to ensure continuous cooperation between the university and its graduates, as well as to monitor their positions in the labor market. In this regard, activities such as engagement with distinguished alumni, the provision of individual career counseling to students, strengthening university–industry collaboration, and promoting innovative partnerships are carried out. The development of university–industry relations, the integration of students into real production environments, and the preparation of specialists aligned with labor market requirements are among the Center’s key priorities.
To establish systematic relations with alumni and foster mutual cooperation, the Alumni Association was created under the Career and Employment Center based on Protocol No. 10 of the Academic Council of Azerbaijan Technical University PLE dated June 8, 2025. This Association works to strengthen alumni relations with the university, organize joint projects, and enhance the exchange of experience.
By supporting the professional development of students, the Career and Employment Center of Azerbaijan Technical University PLE significantly contributes to their successful career building, their formation as competitive specialists in the labor market, and the university’s strategic development objectives.
