Research Activities

(General Research Areas, Publications in Prestigious Journals, Monographs, Textbooks and Teaching Materials)

The research results of the department’s academic staff have been published in prestigious scientific journals in various countries, including the United States, Japan, Poland, Germany, the United Kingdom, Iran, Russia, Italy, Finland, Turkey, the People’s Republic of China, Saudi Arabia, and others.

Over the past three years (2023, 2024, 2025), 54 scientific articles authored by the department’s staff have been published in internationally recognized journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. In addition, 19 patents and invention certificates have been obtained during this period.

Over the course of 75 years, the departments that currently constitute the Department of Machine Design, Mechatronics and Industrial Technologies have collectively published more than 1,000 textbooks, teaching manuals, and methodological materials.
