QUALITY ASSURANCE
Based on Extract No. 3 from the decision of the Scientific Council of Azerbaijan Technical University dated December 17, 2021, the name of the Quality Management Department was changed to the Center for Quality Assurance and Teaching-Learning on May 18, 2022. The Center operated in three main directions: organizing training for academic staff, improving teaching processes, course programs, syllabi, and curricula, as well as ensuring quality assurance.
According to the decision of the Scientific Council of Azerbaijan Technical University dated July 12, 2023, the Center was renamed as the Quality Assurance Department on July 23, 2023.
The Quality Assurance Department is a structural unit that carries out functions such as planning, monitoring, analyzing, and controlling quality, as well as supporting continuous improvement across all activity areas specified in the Charter of Azerbaijan Technical University. It also supports a student-centered learning environment and aims to enhance the quality of scientific research activities.
