A webinar was held on the topic “How has the 21st century changed the role of the teacher?” organized by the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).

During the trainings held within the framework of the webinar, the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Professor Sabina Almammedova, emphasized the increased interest in educational programs based on international experience in the field of teaching foreign languages ​​in our country.

Also, young teachers of the department, Famil Mammadov, Rashid Sultanov, Nasrin Hajiyeva, provided information on the use of various methods in the modern educational process, such as communicative language teaching (CLT), task-based learning (TBL), grammar-translation method (GTM) and the application of technology, as well as modern pedagogical technologies such as joint learning, project-based methodology, the use of new information technologies, as well as internet resources.
