A workshop entitled "Business Etiquette: Professional Behavior in the Work Environment" was held under the editorship and participation of Professor Sabina Almammedova, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages. The workshop, organized for students of the Faculty of Economics and Management, was conducted by Aygul Khalilova, a teacher of the department. During the workshop held at the "Libraf Book Academy", participants were provided with detailed and in-depth knowledge on the importance of ethical behavior in the work environment, the establishment of professional relationships, and the application of ethical principles. The workshop aimed to promote fundamental values such as transparency, honesty, responsibility, and mutual respect in the workplace.

One of the most important components of the training was the "role-play" sessions. The use of "role-play" allowed participants to reenact various ethical dilemmas they may encounter in the work environment in real time and develop their decision-making skills in these situations. This practical approach provided participants with not only theoretical knowledge, but also the ability to demonstrate appropriate ethical behavior in specific situations. Participants were better equipped to handle ethical decision-making challenges in the future.

The workshop also included a wide-ranging discussion in the Fluency Circle format. This method allowed participants to engage in in-depth discussions on a variety of topics related to business ethics and benefit from the perspectives of their colleagues. The Fluency Circle enriched participants’ understanding of ethical principles, encouraging them to think more broadly and develop new approaches.

The workshop aimed to equip participants not only with the principles of business ethics, but also with the skills they needed to communicate more effectively and efficiently in the future by applying them in their daily work lives.
