Professor Sabina Almammadova and Vafa Rashidli visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the city of Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan, in 2025 and delivered presentations.

The Department’s English language instructor Leyla Guliyeva delivered a lecture at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in Romania within the framework of the Erasmus+ exchange programme.

Professor R.A. Ismayilov completed an advanced training course in Paris, France, and delivered an extensive presentation in French at Sorbonne University on the topic “Azerbaijan–France Literary Relations.”

Among the English language instructors, O.M. Bagirova and I.E. Badalova completed advanced training courses in the 1990s in Exeter, England; T. Garayeva at Oxford University; and French language instructor I.A. Amirbayov in Paris.

German language instructors T.H. Figarova completed advanced training in Dresden, Germany, while S.B. Khalilova completed advanced training courses in Munich and Cologne.
