Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) will cooperate with universities in Finland.

A delegation led by the Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Vilayat Valiyev, is on an official visit to Finland.

Within the framework of the visit, meetings were held with ABB as well as at the University of Vaasa and Tampere University. During these meetings, views were exchanged on potential cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, energy systems, and smart manufacturing.

As a result of discussions with ABB, an agreement was reached to establish a pilot, research-oriented Smart Energy Grid at AzTU.

During discussions with Finnish universities, opportunities for collaboration were explored in areas such as joint education programs aligned with real industry needs, research activities, academic exchange, and the implementation of university–industry cooperation models.

It should be noted that the AzTU delegation also included Aynura Ismayılova, Director of the Institute of Higher Education, and Nicat Huseynov, Acting Director of the Institute of Energy and Sustainable Development.
