The delegation, led by AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev, has held official meetings at the University of Turku, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.
At the University of Turku, the main focus was on cooperation in the fields of data science, artificial intelligence, and digital systems. Initial agreements were also reached on joint scientific research, PhD programs, and participation in international projects.
Meetings with Metropolia University of Applied Sciences focused on applied engineering and innovation-oriented collaboration. During these discussions, cooperation directions were defined in areas such as the implementation of a dual education model, the establishment of a rapid prototyping laboratory, student-involved innovation projects, startup programs, and industry-oriented training mechanisms.
At Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, the meetings resulted in an agreement on joint activities in artificial intelligence in education and technological entrepreneurship.
It should be noted that the AzTU delegation also included Aynurə Ismayilova, Director of the Institute of Higher Education, and Nicat Huseynov, Acting Director of the Institute of Energy and Sustainable Development.
