Teams from the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) participated in the international competition “CAU Tech Hackathon 2026,” held at Central Asian University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The prestigious event brought together 120 teams. AzTU was represented in two tracks: “AI in Healthcare Hackathon 2026” and “International Cybersecurity Capture the Flag (CTF) 2026.”
In the International Cybersecurity Capture the Flag (CTF) 2026 category, the AzTU team achieved 7th place.
The AzTU teams were accompanied by Azad Musayev, Coordinator of the Incubation Center. Additionally, to ensure effective preparation and participation in the competition process, support and mentorship were provided by Shamkhal Aliyev, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Energy, and Murad Ahmadov for the CTF team.
It should be noted that in both categories, the results achieved by AzTU teams surpassed those of other Azerbaijani universities.
