The Institute of Logistics and Transport is predicated upon the consistent exchange of scholarly insights pertaining to scientific advancements and innovations within the domain of logistics and transportation. Such exchanges are facilitated through collaborative engagements with pertinent academic institutions spanning prominent universities within the republic as well as esteemed counterparts abroad.
Throughout the period spanning 2022 to 2023, personnel affiliated with Tashkent State Transport University convened seminars at Azerbaijan Technical University, focusing on the formulation of urban transportation plans and the evaluation of potential trajectories for the advancement of alternative transport conduits.
Noteworthy participation by three representatives from the Institute of Logistics and Transport was recorded during the annual assembly of PTV program users in November 2022, hosted by Tashkent State Transport University. Further collaboration transpired during the international symposium titled "Silk Road in the 21st Century," jointly orchestrated by Azerbaijan Technical University, Istanbul Technical University, and Tashkent State Transport University under the auspices of AzTU, held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in June 2023. Within the context of the symposium's workshop titled "Modern Technologies in Transport and Logistics," the Institute of Logistics and Transport delivered a presentation entitled "The Mobility Challenges Confronting Metropolises and Proposed Remedial Strategies." Subsequently, preliminary discussions materialized concerning the establishment of a trilateral Logistics and Transport Scientific Research Center, envisaged to unite specialists from the aforementioned universities.
During November 2022, three representatives from the Institute of Logistics and Transport actively participated in the annual convening of PTV program users, hosted at Tashkent State Transport University. Subsequently, in June 2023, at the symposium titled "Silk Road in the 21st Century," jointly coordinated by Azerbaijan Technical University, Istanbul Technical University, and Tashkent State Transport University under the auspices of AzTU, held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, the Institute of Logistics and Transport contributed a presentation entitled "Addressing Mobility Challenges in Urban Centers: Proposed Methodologies for Resolution." This presentation was delivered within the context of a workshop focusing on contemporary advancements in transportation and logistics technologies. Notably, this event served as a catalyst for the preliminary establishment discussions regarding a tripartite Logistics and Transport Scientific Research Center, envisaged to encompass specialists from the aforementioned three academic institutions.
In 2022, Ulvi Javadli, an employee of the institute, undertook a comprehensive two-month course at the KUTEM (Kent Inner Transportation Technologies Accessibility Application and Research Center) affiliated with Gazi University. During this tenure, Javadli familiarized themselves with a project executed by the KUTEM center concerning the enhancement of Ankara's transportation system. This engagement provided an opportunity to delve into the project's intricacies, encompassing its developmental phases, implementation strategies, and accompanying documentation. Moreover, Javadli acquired a thorough understanding of the primary functionalities embedded within the PTV VISSIM and VISUM programs, pivotal tools utilized in formulating mobility plans.
Throughout the period spanning 2022 to 2023, collaborative efforts with Transproject LLC, an enterprise operating within Russia and serving as the principal distributor of the esteemed German company PTV Group within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), were augmented. By the conclusion of 2023, a substantial conference, jointly organized with Transproject LLC, is slated to transpire at Azerbaijan Technical University. This conference aims to convene representatives from diverse nations, fostering a platform for scholarly exchange and dialogue.
In 2022, as part of the realization of the CRENG (Erasmus K2+) (Crisis and Risk Engineering for Transport Services) master's program, a robust exchange of knowledge occurred within the sphere of advanced educational methodologies. This exchange was facilitated through collaborative efforts with esteemed institutions such as Kyiv State University of Infrastructure and Technology, Warsaw University of Technology, and Berlin Technical University.
Simultaneously, the Institute of Logistics and Transport engages in close collaboration with pertinent entities affiliated with the Technical University of Georgia, Konya Karatay University, Priazovsk Technical University, and Moscow Highway University.
