In line with the Strategic Development Plan of the Azerbaijan Technical University, the “Committee for Quality and Rankings Management” was established by AzTU’s Order No. F-67 dated May 14, 2025, with the purpose of overseeing monitoring and evaluation processes, organizing institutional and program accreditation processes, preparing improvement plans based on self-analysis activities, and enhancing the university’s position in international rankings. The Committee’s main areas of activity include the strategic formation and continuous development of the quality assurance system across the university, ensuring readiness for internal and external evaluations, and improving relevant performance indicators. In addition, the Committee is responsible for conducting indicator-based analyses and coordinating activities aimed at improving the university’s position in national and international rankings. The overall objective of the Committee is to enhance the quality of education and scientific activities at the university, improve its standing in both international and local rankings, implement quality assurance mechanisms, and ensure sustainable development.
