General Objective: The general objective of the project is to enhance the entrepreneurial mindset and environment in higher education by integrating the entrepreneurship in governance, management and curriculum, as well as providing environments, cultures, practices, and opportunities by Entrepreneurship and Innovation centers that will conducive to encourage and embrace staff and student entrepreneurship.

Special Objectives:
  • Establishment, restructuring and modernization of entrepreneurship and innovation center at AzTU
  • Equipping the established center with the appropriate equipment;
  • Creation of a Working Group to analyse the current situation of entrepreneurial activities at AzTU;
  • To support the development of benchmark methodology and questionnaire;
  • Organizing visits to partner universities (benchmark) from the European Union to study the best practice in this field;
  • Preparation of a comparative analysis (Benchmark) report.
  • Organizing a national conference in order to deliver the results of the report to the target audience;
  • Development of a strategic plan for innovation and entrepreneurship in partner universities;
  • Preparation of a 3-year action plan and control mechanism in order to improve the entrepreneurial activities of partner universities;
  • Preparation of awarding rules for entrepreneurship in the higher education system (entrepreneur student of the year, entrepreneur teacher of the year, entrepreneur university of the year);
  • Creating relevant Working Group on awarding and organizing a 2-day seminar;
  • Organization of the awarding ceremony for entrepreneurship in the higher education system;
Tasks implemented by AzTU:
  • Kickoff meeting was held and duties and tasks of the project were discussed.
  • Enterpreneural experience of HEIs in Sweden, Estonia, Poland were studied.
