General objective: Improvement of curricular and contents of energy efficiency and environmental protection subjects

Tasks of project:
  • Support reforms and modernization in higher education institutions of partner countries;
  • Improving the quality of higher education in partner countries;
  • Support the mutual development of human resources;
  • Improving the network of higher education and scientific research institutes between partner countries and EU member states;
  • Improvement of subject programs and their contents,
  • Training of 30 teachers in EU and training of 150 students for new courses;
  • Creation of resource centers for the development of buildings’ energy efficiency.

Tasks implemented by AzTU:
  • The educational needs have been determined in order to organize education in priority majors in the respective departments of AzTU: Educational and methodological resources; Electronic educational materials; Material and technical base; Laboratory equipment.
  • At AzTU, the relevant specialization was adapted in the department of "Heat Energy" at the undergraduate level, and the "Renewable energy sources" specialization was opened at the master's degree level.
  • A group of AzTU executives participated in one-week strategic training at CNAM University.
  • An IT specialist from AzTU participated in one-week distance education training at Telematics UNINETTINO University of Rome.
  • Accreditation dossier of AzTU for "Renewable energy sources" specialty was developed and approved by the rector of the coordinator university.
  • A "Mastery Center" was created and put into use under the "Heat Energy" department of AzTU.
  • 3 teachers of AzTU participated in the improvement trainings at the CNAM in Paris and CNAM Ron-Alp University in Lyon.
  • A branch of the Department of Heat Energy of AzTU was established at the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS.
