Introduction to faculty

The faculty of special technique and technology was established by the decision of the Republic of Azerbaijan Cabinet of Ministers, No. 91 dated 06.07.2011 for the purpose of training highly qualified personnel for the Defense Industry Complex of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In addition to the university, theoretical and practical classes at the faculty are held once a week in factories under the Ministry of Defense Industry and in large auditoriums and production areas created in the training centers of the Ministry of Defense.

The purpose of the faculty

The purpose of the faculty is the preparation of modern composite materials used in weapon systems and military equipment, the design of modern military radio communication systems, modern optical systems and laser technologies, modern types of ammunition, aviation and rocket-space equipment constructions and systems, and to train of highly qualified engineers who will carry out the design and production of modern weapons and weapon systems. 

Areas of activity 

The activity direction of the faculty is the training of highly qualified personnel for the Ministry of Defense Industry.

The scientific activity of the faculty is focused on the creation of special purpose products and the development of new technologies and is conducted in the direction of "Creation of special purpose products and development of new technologies".Teaching is conducted in Azerbaijani and Russian languages at the faculty.
