The next meeting of AzTU Scientific Council was held. At the meeting, relevant tasks were given regarding the issue arising from the Decision of Prime Minister Ali Asadov "On the reorganization and approval of the Charter of Azerbaijan Technical University".

At the same time, it was decided to increase the quality of education, form scientific research works based on international standards, as well as increase technological transfer activities and university entrepreneurship. Accordingly, the new structure of AzTU was approved.

The action plan for the entry of the "Machine Science" magazine into the international scientific bases was also approved.

At the meeting, in accordance with the views expressed by President Ilham Aliyev at the meeting with the members of the West Azerbaijan Community on December 24, 2022, especially in accordance with the tasks given by him in the direction of preparing the Concept of Return to West Azerbaijan, a decision was made to establish the "Technological Heritage of West Azerbaijan" Center at AzTU. The center will operate on a public basis.
