Within the framework of the "ERASMUS+KA2" program funded by the European Union, in which Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) is a partner, the next international conference and the next meeting of the management team was held in Moldova on the project "Increasing the potential of universities in starting and participating in the development of clusters with the principles of innovation and sustainability" (UniClaD).

The event was organized with the participation of representatives of partner organizations from Italy, Spain, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Ukraine. The international conference was hosted by Comrat State University on April 8-10 in Comrat, Moldova, and on April 11-12 in Chisinau by Moldova Technical University.

AzTU vice-rector for science and innovations Subhan Namazov, vice-rector for international relations Fariz Mammadov, head of the international projects group of the international relations department Matanat Pashayeva, head of the Research and Development department Bakhtiyar Badalov, head of the doctoral and master's department Shahin Mashayev took part in the conference.

At the meeting, European partners gave presentations on the application of IT technologies in agriculture, the Cluster Innovation Farm in Austria, the experience of creating training modules, the agricultural knowledge and innovation system, clusters in the food sector, and the application of models was discussed. Within the framework of the visit, advanced farms producing organic dairy products were inspected and innovative applications were studied.

During the visit, which continued with the meeting of the management team, the outstanding issues related to the main components of the project were discussed, and the time of the next meeting was agreed.

In the end, the organizational issues for holding the final conference on the project in Azerbaijan were also discussed.
